Generative AI has already surpassed human intelligence.Question to ChatGPT: Are Ashkenazi Jews European?"Ashkenazi Jews, like other Jewish groups, trace their ancestry back to the ancient Israelites of the Middle East. The Ashkenazi Jewish community specifically has historical roots in the Ashkenaz region, which is generally associated with parts of Central and Eastern Europe. The term "Ashkenazi" itself is derived from the Hebrew word for Germany.Historically, Jewish communities were dispersed throughout various regions due to factors like migration, exile, and trade. Ashkenazi Jews are believed to have migrated to Central and Eastern Europe from the Middle East, specifically from the Levant and the area around the Mediterranean, over a period of centuries. This migration occurred during the early medieval period, and by the High Middle Ages, Ashkenazi Jewish communities were well-established in parts of Europe.Genetic studies have also been conducted to explore the origins of different Jewish groups, including Ashkenazi Jews. These studies generally suggest a shared genetic heritage among Jewish populations, indicating common ancestry in the Middle East. However, it's important to note that genetics is just one aspect of Jewish identity, and cultural, religious, and historical factors play significant roles in shaping the identity of Jewish communities. While the ancestral origins of Ashkenazi Jews can be traced back to the Middle East, their distinct historical experiences and cultural development occurred in the context of the regions where they settled, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe."

The so-called "Diaspora" had been occurring before Rome conquered Judaea. Many young Jews from Judaea left their homeland and moved to places like Alexandria (the "New York City" of antiquity). These Jews eventually forgot Hebrew and spoke/read only Greek; they were known as "Hellenized Jews", the period of Jewish history known as "Hellenism."Remaining scholars from the Holy Land were concerned about these Hellenized Jews' inability to read their scripture in Hebrew so 70 of them set about translating the text from Hebrew into Greek. Since they had all "miraculously" made the same choices regarding grammar, syntax, etc., the Greek translation of the Hebrew Bible has become known as "the Book of the Seventy" — "The Septuagint."

This is the answer you get when you ask #ChatGPT if...𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲? vs.𝗜𝘀𝗿𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲?The difference is the response is an unequivocal 'Yes' when it comes to Israeli rightsJust another reminder that long-standing attitudes of bias, partiality, and dehumanisation have become institutionalized... deeply ingrained into the very fabric of the general discourse, societies, and the media we consume𝘗𝘚. "AI, represented by language models like ChatGPT, can generate text but lacks true understanding.Unlike humans, AI doesn’t have embodied experiences or emotions, making it fundamentally different from human intelligence.AI’s generation of text can propagate biases and even produce harmful, biased content without awareness." - from the text of the articleAI is powerful tool. Humans should not feel threatened by AI, as long as it stays in the hands of people driven by honorable intent, as clearly its positive impact depends on responsible and ethical use. AI should ultimately be serving as a tool to augment human capabilities rather than replace them. The ongoing key question for humanity then becomes ‘who is overseeing AI at the moment’?? In many way, it’s a survival question for humanity. Are we asking that question loudly enough?#informationtechnology #artificialntelligence #decisionmaking #leadership #survival #question #psychology #growth #ethics #morality #quality
