Milan cruises to first state title game since 1942
The Bulldogs handily defeated Tyner 59-41to advance to their first state title game in 80 years.

East Nashville holds on to beat Power Center
Led by Jarrod Taylor's 19points, the Eagles hold on to beat Power Center 64-53 on Wednesday at Murphy Center and advance to the Class 2A state championship game.
The Eagles pulled away thanks to an 11-0 run late in the fourth quarter. The Knights responded to East Nashville's zone, capitalizing on its perimeter shooting.
Along with Taylor's 19points and nine rebounds, Jordan Crawford added 13. Jaylen Jones finished with eight points and eight rebounds.
Cordarius Sledge led all Power Center scorers with 21 points. PJ Hillman added 14 points and nine rebounds.
East Nashville starting to pull away
The Eagles are starting to pull away from Power Center. They are amidst an 11-0 the last 2:28 and hold a 57-49 lead over Power Center with less than two minutes left in the game.
Power Center retakes the lead after three quarters
The Knights learned from Tuesday's game and have attacked the zone much better. It's helped them retake the lead over East Nashville. They lead 39-38.
Power Center was 2-for-5 in the quarter from beyond the arc and their improved efficiency has helped them stay in this one.
East Nashville leads by three at half
Caleb Jackson and PJ Hillman lead all scorers but the Eagles are leading by 3 at halftime, 28-25.
The difference through 16 minutes is Power Center's foul trouble. East Nashville shot 11 free throws (made eight of them) in the first half. Power Center has shot five so far. East Nashville has the rebound advantage 24-20.
Cullen Cleaves and Jordan Crawford lead all Eagles scorers with six points each. Jaylen Jones has all four of his point from the free throw line and Jarrod Taylor has five points through the first half.

Peabody cruises to win over McKenzie
Peabody cruised to a 63-48 win over McKenzie to advance to the Class 1A semifinals where they will face Clay County, the reigning 1A champion.
The Kee brothers each scored double-digit points for Peabody. Demarkus led with 21 points, and Derek had a double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Derek also five steals and three blocks.
Peabody shot 50.9% from the field and 33% from three. McKenzie's shooting struggles were the deciding factor, as they finished shooting 27.9% from the field and 11.8% from three. The Rebels were led by Marquez Taylor with 18 points.

Peabody (23-9) has an eight-point lead at halftime in part due to senior guard Demarkus Kee, who has a game-high 13 point on 5 of 10 shooting.
Marquez Taylor has a team-high nine points for McKenzie (21-8).
Peabody outscored McKenzie 13-7 in the second quarter and has committed six turnovers compared to McKenzie's 11.
